DIY Terrarium Making Workshop

In this workshop you will be making a dry / open terrarium that consists of a glass vessel with an open top and arid or desert like environment. Dry terrariums are easy to care for with watering only needed every 2 - 4 weeks. Generally speaking, open terrariums are much simpler than a functional closed terrarium – making them a versatile choice for the home or office.In this workshop, which is purposely designed for complete beginners, you'll learn how to make a terrarium including how to layer soil, moss and gravel. Then, you will customise your own self-sufficient ecosystem with a choice of decorative items and greenery.While you're getting crafty with your homemade succulent terrarium, we encourage you to be present, slow down and try to connect with those around you. We want to show you an enjoyable, relaxing time as well as a beautiful experience. We hope everyone who attends these terrarium workshops will leave feeling empowered by their newfound skills and possibly new hobby! At the end of this terrarium class, you and your new friends will have made your very own DIY terrariums to place in your homes with pride.
