What you'll do
Get ready to unleash your creativity at our terrarium class, tailored to Date Night! In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the art of creating beautiful terrariums while sipping on your favourite wine. No experience necessary - we welcome beginners with open arms!Note: 1 ticket required per couple.During the class, you'll have the opportunity to create your very own gorgeous 20cm diameter terrarium. Your teacher, Charlene from Botanista, will guide you every step of the way, providing all the materials and knowledge you need to bring your vision to life. You'll learn how to carefully select and arrange plants, as well as add a couple of extra love-themed accessories to make your date night complete.To ensure a cosy and intimate learning environment, our class is limited to just four couples. This allows us to dedicate individual attention to each couple, ensuring you have plenty of time to let your creativity flow. You'll have ample space to not only create your terrarium but also relax and sip on your favourite wine should you wish to bring some along.While we provide the materials and expertise, we encourage you to bring your own snacks to enjoy during the class. This adds an extra touch of personalisation to the experience, making it a date night to remember.By the end of the class, you and your date will leave with your very own handcrafted terrarium each, filled with love and creativity.

Botanista is a creative space in Port Noarlunga that melds workshops, South Australia's only Terrarium Bar and a beautiful shopfront filled with plants, terrariums and a dash of magic.Owner of Botanista, Charlene Maney, opened Botanista in 2018 with a passion for plants, making gardening fun and bringing the community together.Charlene has been an educator for over 20 years. Her experiences include teaching and overseeing the Indonesian language department in Canberra for the Department of Defence; and overseeing teaching staff as well as teaching several courses herself at the Worker's Education Association of South Australia.Previous to opening Botanista, Charlene had been running her award-winning online store, Fleurieu Gifts and teaching botanical workshops since 2014. Many of the workshops held at Botanista have been running continuously since the early days of Fleurieu Gifts in 2014.
