Join this fun crocheting workshop in Canberra and make a unique wave bag using bamboo paper!In this workshop, we'll be working with Sasawashi Flat bamboo paper by Daruma. It has a raffia-like appearance with a beautiful natural lustre that is unique to Japanese paper. The natural antibacterial, deodorant and UV-blocking properties of kumazasa help keep the item clean and also have a water-repellent and stain-resistant quality. Suitable for crocheters with experience in basic stitches and working in the round, your teacher will guide you through the different steps of crocheting and making a wave bag, This class will cover the following stitches:
- Magic Loop
- Treble crochet increases
- Treble crochet double and triple decreases
- Crochet i-cord.
