What you'll do

In this vibrant class, kids will create a jewel-toned landscape collage inspired by the work of Australian artist Laura Blythman.

Using bold colours and textured papers, they will explore the world of collage. They'll cut, layer and arrange different pieces of paper to form an ethereal landscape. The inspiration for this workshop comes from the dynamic artwork of Laura Blythman, known for her detailed collage technique.

This workshop encourages creativity and experimentation, allowing students to bring their vision of an otherworldly landscape to life through colour, shape and texture.

By the end of the class, students will leave with a beautiful, one-of-a-kind cosmic landscape collage that reflects their unique imagination.

Parents are welcome to assist their children in creating their artwork if they'd like, ensuring a fun and collaborative experience. However, if parents wish to create their artwork, they will need to purchase an adult ticket to participate.

Note: We take photos of student artwork during our classes for social media but never include any faces.

Studio Marigold was founded by Natalie and Jacek, a husband-and-wife team who decided it was time to take their careers in a more creative direction. With Natalie’s background in teaching and Jacek’s in photography, they’ve both spent years exploring various artistic practices and have always shared a love of learning new skills and experimenting with creative processes.
