Print Making
In this engaging workshop, you will be shown the wonderful world of lino printing. Using new Ezy carve blocks, you will learn how to transfer your image onto the block, cut the image out and then print your image/artwork onto various papers, many times! We will then demonstrate how to hand colour the artwork.
The nature of lino printing is very graphic and satisfying and has many endless possibilities. You may want to turn the prints into cards or a small print for a frame or keep working on it to keep exploring what is possible if you keep cutting and printing the same block!
Feel free to bring an image(s) along or take inspiration from a range of images/ideas available to share on the day. The thing is, there are no bad lino prints!
This workshop will be focused on enjoyment and relaxation, learning skills that you can take home and keep going with on your kitchen table.

Hi I'm Megan and I am a Printmaker! I have always been a Printmaker, completing a BA in Visual Arts from the Qld College of Art & Design, Griffith University. I have worked in many visual arts fields and workshops, with 8 years at Uni Qld Union as the resident Screen printer, TAFE and many other workshops.
I love being an Arts tutor! I enjoy sharing my skills in a fun, informal and accessible way. It really is fantastic to see what people create, and how much joy they receive from making something with their own hands. My workshops are designed to be vaguely challenging, fun and creatively rewarding.
