Clay Creature Workshop

Unleash your inner creature!

1 hour

Class size 1 to 6 (public classes), 6 to 12

  $35 - $40 ($35 for Child, $40 for Adult)

In this fun and imaginative clay creatures workshop, you'll learn the basics of ceramic hand building while working with air dry clay. Our instructors will guide you through the essential techniques of shaping and adding details to your sculpture, making it an enjoyable experience for beginners and more experienced artists alike.
Working with clay is not only a chance to express your imagination but also offers numerous benefits. The tactile nature of the material helps improve fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and focus. As you form your creature, you’ll also practise problem-solving skills and spatial awareness.
This workshop is open to all ages, and we encourage both adults and children to join in on the fun together! It’s a wonderful opportunity for families to share the creative process, learn new skills, and make lasting memories. No experience is required—just bring your creativity and a passion for making something unique!
Parents are welcome to assist their children in creating their artwork if they'd like, ensuring a fun and collaborative experience. However, if parents wish to create their artwork, they will need to purchase an adult ticket to participate.

Welcome to our little art studio...
Studio Marigold was founded by Natalie and Jacek, a husband-and-wife team who decided it was time to take their careers in a more creative direction. With Natalie’s background in teaching and Jacek’s in photography, they’ve both spent years exploring various artistic practices and have always shared a love of learning new skills and experimenting with creative processes. Their dream was to create a space where others could do the same—a place to try, learn, and grow, no matter your experience level or age.
At it's heart, Studio Marigold is about building a creative community. It’s a welcoming space designed for fun, discovery, and connection. Whether you’re curious about ceramics, painting, drawing, or something else, our classes and workshops provide the opportunity to explore your artistic side in a supportive and inspiring environment.
We believe that making time for creativity is more than just enjoyable—it’s essential. Working with your hands can reduce stress, improve focus, and spark a sense of accomplishment. It’s a chance to pause, immerse yourself in the process, and connect with others while creating something uniquely your own.
At Studio Marigold, we’re here to help you unlock your creativity, learn new skills, and discover the joy of making. Whether you’re looking for a new hobby, a way to unwind, or a chance to connect with like-minded people, we’d love to welcome you into our creative community.
