Clay and Sip Hand Building Class for Group Bookings

To make things even more enjoyable, your group booking includes a delicious Mezze board and a glass of champagne per person* to keep the good vibes flowing.Gather your friends, family or colleagues and dive into the world of ceramics with The Art Department in Newcastle!Unleash your group's inner artists in this 2.5-hour pottery class tailored for group bookings. Our hand-building class combines art and socialising, making it the perfect group activity. Led by our professional pottery teachers, you'll learn fun and unique techniques while having the opportunity to relax, get messy and connect with your group in our open and friendly environment. Whether you're all beginners or seasoned artists, the only thing you need to bring is your imagination and creative spirit.Firing and glazing of 2x small/medium items is included in the price per person for this booking if selected at checkout. If you'd like to add more pieces, simply pay for it in the studio. ($10 per additional piece).Alternatively, you can book for a group without firing by selecting the option at the checkout. If you change your mind during the booking and would like any pieces fired, you can pay in the studio before leaving. ($20 for 2x small/medium items)Please keep in mind that our house-white glaze will be used for all finished pieces, and you'll have the joy of collecting your glazed creations approximately 2-3 weeks later. If you're unable to pick them up in person, please discuss shipping arrangements with our studio team.If you leave your items to dry or be fired in our studio, you'll receive an EMAIL when they're ready for pickup. Please be sure to label your pieces and show us a pic to make the collection easy for everyone. If you're taking your creations home, let them air dry for 4 weeks for the best results. Australia-wide shipping is available. Speak with the team in the studio to arrange postage.We promise you'll leave with your hands covered in clay, so there's no need to bring your own. Just bring your wonderful group and get ready to get your hands dirty!Notes:

• Any dietary requirements (Gluten Free, Celiac, etc.) must be emailed 48 hours prior to the class start time. Fees may apply if notified after.
• Work may crack or even explode during kiln firing; we do not offer refunds for such instances. If your piece is mistakenly picked up by someone else, we regret we cannot offer refunds. Ensure your name is clearly marked on your work.
• We'll always do our best to ensure a great time!
