With the Christmas spirit in full swing, what could be better than learning a new craft while creating something special for yourself or a loved one?
In this workshop specifically designed for adult and teenage beginners, we will explore the fundamental stitches and skills needed to start a crochet project that you can use during the festive season.
The project that we will be making is Christmas coasters! We will create these in a crafty classroom space where your imagination can run wild over a bottomless pool of all the tools and more that we use during our class.
Don't worry if you're new to crochet, our small class sizes ensure you receive personalised attention from your experienced instructor.
You will have the opportunity to:
  • Learn how to hold the hook and yarn
  • Start a simple crochet design (deviation of the granny square motive)
  • Read and follow a written pattern
In addition to this, there will be time for practising the techniques, asking questions and connecting with like-minded individuals who share your passion for crafting. This class is also perfect for a fun outing with friends or for parents who want to learn something with their teenager.
By the end of our session, you'll leave with newfound crochet skills and a handmade creation to further practise your skills at home!

  • Beginner-friendly, no prior knowledge required.
  • An adult must accompany any attending teenagers (14 years and up) and must pay for a separate ticket. Please note that crochet is a skill that will only be perfected through practice, please keep this in mind when attending the class.
