Do you love to treat yourself with Chinese dumplings? Do you find yourself waiting impatiently in a queue for your table alongside a long line of hungry people? If that sounds like you, then this hands-on cooking class is for you!
Join The Cooking Professor's experienced chef for this beginner's cooking class on making Chinese dumplings. The techniques you will learn include making and rolling out the dumpling dough, creating the signature textured pork and vegetable filling and shaping it into various shapes of Shanghai dumplings.
On the menu:
  • Chinese Dong Bei Dumplings
  • Fried Prawn Dumplings
  • Pork, Mushroom and Coriander Pot Sticky Dumplings
In our unique hands-on learning environment, everyone is broken into small teams, and everyone makes a different dish under the guidance of the instructor.
You will take your dumplings and prepare them in broth with garnish and fried potsticker style, all served with various dipping sauces and garnishes.
Once the cooking is complete, you'll sit down at the end and share the food in a massive social feast.

Please note:
  • We are fully BYO and do provide glassware if needed (for large groups we ask that you bring an Esky as fridge space is limited).
  • Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before the start time.

All of The Cooking Professor classes are BYO (alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, water and glassware are provided)
