Ceramic Mug and Spoon Making Workshop

Create a ceramic mug and spoon using earthenware clay in Perth

3 hours Class size 1 to 8 guests

$99 (Afterpay available)

If you are looking for unique things to do in Perth, try out this fun ceramics workshop with Hannah from Moody Rabbit in her cozy home studio.
Using the slab building method, you will learn how to construct your very own personalised mug and spoon set with clay. After your designs have been shaped, you will then paint and glaze them using your own colours and patterns.
During the workshop, you will learn the basics of clay, different firing types and what clay we will be using on the day. You will also learn the importance of using slip and how it can be used to construct your pieces.
The final product will be a mug that is approximately nine centimetres high with a handle and matching spoon.
We will need approximately four hours to complete the pieces to a standard that is ready for kiln firing. You will be able to collect your fired work two weeks after the class.
Please note: If you would like to hold a class at a venue of your choice with a minimum of six people, please contact the teacher via the request button.
Each purchase of the Terrace Greenhouse Gallery (South Fremantle) will also receive a $5 gift voucher to spend in store at the Terrace Greenhouse shop and gallery.
