Bottle PaintingBottle painting is what it sounds like - painting on bottles or, in general, glass surfaces!What will you learn?You will walk through the basic type of paint to use, preparation of the surface, and learn to paint peonies with an impressionism twist.During the workshop and what to bringThe workshop will be held as a group, and you will receive feedback from myself as I go around the space. The workshop will be held at a quiet and relaxing environment.You do not need to bring anything except for yourself. I am Floryntina (or Flo if you prefer) and I am a Perth calligrapher, hand engraver and bottler painter.I have always fancied beautiful handwriting and always practiced to achieve nice yet legible handwriting for school. Even in today’s modern and digital world, I have always preferred going analog and admired the sentimental of written pieces.I began learning calligraphy in 2019. Two days in, I was hooked and went deep. It was a hobby turned addiction (healthy kind, I promise) and my love for pretty stationery did not help. I practiced day and night and wanted to do calligraphy on everything and anything I can get my hands on. I experimented with many different mediums and surfaces including engraving, bottle painting and hot foiling.In 2020, Lovinga Designs was born, a woman-owned business servicing across Western Australia and beyond. Today, I specialise in on site brand activations and events doing bottle painting, hand engraving and luxury ink calligraphy, and event place cards, and love elevating your special day or gifting experiences.
