“There is another alphabet, whispering from every leaf, singing from every river, shimmering from every sky.” ― Dejan Stojanovic
Do you love leaves? Want to come along and play with printing your favourite leaves in lots of different ways?
This 2-day workshop celebrates the simple beauty of leaves through a variety of different printmaking techniques, including:
  • cyanotype sun printing
  • aluminium tape collagraph
  • monotype using the press
  • watercolour leaf printing
We'll be working small and intimate, focusing on one leaf at a time to record the beauty of leaf details such as the veins and natural imperfections. You'll be inspired by the different approaches to mark making, learning lots of new techniques that you can repeat at home.
All of the artist-quality printmaking papers, pre-prepared cyanotype papers, printmaking inks, and equipment are supplied.

Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 3 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class; in this case we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.
