Combine natural wool fibre and a pattern of movement (and numbers) surrounded by living terrariums and what do you get? A crocheted barrel cactus in your choice of colours. This sweet little succulent provides ongoing delight. No watering required!
If you can count to six, you can make this mini-barrel cactus. You don’t need any previous experience. Your instructor Anne Marie will provide you with a kit with a crochet hook and pattern–-yours to take home–-and demonstrate the crochet stitches. You choose the colour of your cactus and flower.
Experience movement as meditation. When we make beautiful things with our hands, we create a mindful experience for our minds and hearts. It’s even better when we come together in community with other makers.
This is an opportunity to get together with friends and learn how to make a mini-gift for birthdays, holidays or as a thank you. Whether you work with quiet focus or talk as your hands move, you will come away with a handmade mini-barrel cactus, a crochet hook, a pattern and the skills to make other beautiful baskets.
