Are you keen to take your portrait photography to the next level? Everyone is shooting in available light these days, learn the ins and outs of basic studio lighting in this hands-on workshop from an actual working professional in a Jamisontown studio.
A professional photographer is required to shoot in any condition, by modifying light to create the images expected of them regardless of shooting in a studio or on location.
In this photography workshop, on selected Saturday or Sunday afternoons, your photography instructor will take you through the basics of studio lighting, and basic portrait principles. You will learn the modifiers, the gear, how to assemble lights, and how to create three light setups.
If you're looking to advance your photography skills, this lighting workshop will teach you all the basic skills you need to feel like a confident portrait photographer.

Knowledge required
A basic understanding of manual exposure settings is required.

In this course you will learn basic lighting to light a subject to take a portrait.
I have been a passionate photographer since my young teens where I loved to photograph landscapes and whatever crossed my path with camera in hand. I took my first photography class when I was 17, The Photography Certificate and a few more in the following years to my final course an Advanced Diploma of Photography.
I have been a Portrait, Fashion and Lifestyle photographer for many years now and shoot the majority of my work in studios and on location.
This course is perfect for people with a basic knowledge of photography who want to go to the next level and learn basic lighting techniques.
