Silversmith Jewellery Making Class: Mixed Levels

Create your own silver jewellery with expert guidance in this mixed-level course.

6 x 3 hours Class size 1 to 3 guests       $475

Learn how to make your own silver jewellery at this fun jewellery making workshop in Sydney!

This mixed-level workshop is open to everyone, from beginners to continuers. It’s the perfect opportunity to work on your own jewellery project at your own pace while you learn new skills and are under the supervision of a professional and passionate jeweller.

Each workshop will differ slightly because it is mixed-level, but you will be able to collaborate, be inspired by other projects and share tips and tricks throughout the workshop. In this drop-in workshop, you can expect some of these topics to be covered:

- Metal cutting and forming - Ring sizing - Texturing and stamping - Soldering (using torches you learn how to anneal and solder metal to join the silver together) - Drilling - Forming (how to shape and dome metal) - Polishing and finishing (how to file, use emery paper and get the perfect shine)

By the end of the workshop, you will have made great progress and perhaps even completed your self-directed project to take home, as well as plenty of new skills and connections with other like-minded artists.
