Looking for something different to do these school holidays?
In this artmaking workshop, you will delve into the fascinating world of cyanotype, an early photographic practise. Discover how to create beautiful prints through sun exposure and contact printing techniques. Experiment with creating contact negatives for printing, producing, and creative pieces.
Designed for beginners, participants will use pre-coated paper and also experience coating paper in a darkroom setting.
During the 2-hour workshop, you'll have the opportunity to work with a range of materials and techniques, including creating contact negatives and contact printing. You might feel a mix of excitement and curiosity as you engage in this hands-on activity, leading to a sense of accomplishment as you produce your own prints to take home.
Immerse yourself in this transformative experience, where you'll not only learn a new skill but also leave with a collection of prints ready for framing. Join us in Koolewong, easily accessible by car or public transport, for a morning of creative exploration and learning. Morning tea will be provided.

Creating Space is about making time for self-care and personal growth. Through a range of workshops, I guide participants in exploring artmaking, intention setting, life design, and meditation.
With over 24 years of experience as a secondary educator, my focus has been on fostering creativity, wellbeing, and pathways planning. As an artist, I specialize in mixed media, embracing the possibilities of printmaking, photography, and ceramics.
My artistic journey includes a Visual Arts degree from Newcastle University and a Graduate Diploma of Art & Design at Launceston TAFE. I am a lifelong learner, continuously exploring new techniques and creative approaches.
In addition, my postgraduate qualification in Career Development and Life Design fuels my passion for helping others navigate their own paths. By integrating art, education, and self-discovery, I aim to inspire and empower individuals in creating their best lives.
