What you'll do

Join us in our glass studio for a special hands-on glassmaking workshop in Canberra.

In this workshop, you will learn the basics of creating your very own coloured art glass fused and slumped (kiln-formed) bowl.

Our experienced instructor, Lisa Cahill, is an internationally recognised glass artist with 25 years of experience and loves welcoming you to her fully equipped kiln-forming and cold-working studio in Fyshwick. Lisa will guide you through every step of the process, and you'll learn how to cut and arrange coloured glass and then watch as your creation comes to life.

Being fired in the kiln will bring out the unique colours and textures of your art glass bowl. Once the firing is complete, your bowl will be ready for pickup or postage a few days later (please follow us on social media to be advised about pick-up times and dates).

Please note: This class is suitable for all ages above 5 years, but children between 5 and 10 must be supervised by an adult. Plenty of space for parents to stay and watch, although you might like to join in the fun - it's a great class to do with your child.

Your fired pieces ready to collect a day or so after your class.

This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a date idea or hens party.

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 5 years old).

An adult must accompany any attending kids. The adult may observe at the class for free.

This experience would also be a fun gift for her, gift for mum or gift for couples.
