Ciao, I’m Antonella – Your Italian Chef and Food Coach passionate about bringing the authentic flavours of Italy into your home!
My culinary journey:
Like many Australian Italian families, my parents migrated to Australia in 1960. From an early age of 7 I became very inquisitive and interested in watching and helping my mother in the kitchen. I became familiar with traditional flavour combinations and compiled my own handwritten cookbook with all the tips and secrets she taught me. These early experiences ignited a lifelong passion for sharing the joy of Italian cooking.
Experience and Qualifications:
After working in corporate marketing within a leading food company, I took a leap to start selling my own fresh Italian products at farmers’ markets. I then obtained my chef qualifications from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School and worked in various restaurants and function centres, collaborating with other chefs and owners to develop unique recipes and menus.
For over 18 years, I have been teaching Italian cooking both online and in-person, combining my Italian heritage with professional training to impart valuable, lifelong culinary skills.

Teaching is where my heart truly lies, and this passion has inspired me to establish Pass the Parmesan Italian Cooking School. Here, I transform all my culinary knowledge into engaging online courses, helping you master delicious and authentic Italian cuisine from the comfort of your own kitchen, wherever you may be in the world.
Why I Do What I Do:
Sharing everything I know makes me very happy. My mission is to make authentic Italian cooking and modern techniques accessible to everyone, particularly in today’s fast-paced world.
My specially designed on-demand, self-paced courses allow you to learn at your own pace, watching when it suits you, with the ability to pause and rewatch as needed.
