What you'll do

In this workshop, you will learn how to create a stunning bento afternoon tea box filled with delightful butterfly cakes and a beautifully decorated five inch sponge cake. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned baker, all are welcome to join this hands-on activity.

Located in beautiful Kensington Park, this workshop offers a relaxing and welcoming environment to explore baking and decorating skills.

You will have access to all equipment and ingredients, no experience required! Cookbooks filled with decorating ideas and recipes will also be made available, providing you with inspiration for future baking endeavours.

Plus, class sizes are deliberately kept small to ensure individualised instruction and sufficient time to perfect your creations. Engage in foodie conversations around the kitchen table and enjoy a complimentary coffee or tea while you create.

By the end of the class, you will receive recipes for all the baked goods and a beautifully packaged bento box filled with delicious treats to enjoy, share or gift to your loved ones.

Note: Children aged 9-12 years can also participate with an accompanying adult, free of charge. If you're 13 years and above, you can attend independently.

Providing baked goods and teaching classes for the last 10 years has created many memorable moments.

Through this time, I have also had the opportunity to bring the joy of baking to the disability community and have seen many people, young and old gain new confidence, learn cooking skills and implement this in their daily living. This has truly been a joy.

Classes are designed to encourage and provide everyone with the confidence and skills to bake in their own kitchen. Enjoy some time out, relax and create delicious food that you can share with others.
