Ang Hart is a multifaceted artist, psychologist, and passionate advocate for social change, residing on a picturesque farm in the Hilltops region of NSW. She maintains a deep connection to the vibrant mining towns of Cobar in New South Wales and Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. Ang's artistic journey is characterised by a profound exploration of rhythm, disruption, and the complexities of the human experience.AngHart holds a Master's of Creative Industries (MCI) with a focus on interdisciplinary visual arts practice. Her research “Rising from the Dust: (in)visible Women in Mining” explores the issues women face in the mining industry depicted by 12 portraits. She presented her research at the Australian Women's and Gender Studies Association (AWGSA) Conference in November 2024 at Southern Cross University on the Gold Coast. Her passion for gestural and action painting techniques illuminates her vibrant and introspective works, offering insights into mood, emotion, and the intricate tapestry of life.
